A Day of Fun at Gootopia QC

I finally took Audrey to Gootopia. I have to say it was different from the usual indoor play areas near us. If you’ve ever stepped into a playhouse or arcade, you know the drill: kids run wild, parents find a seat, and the fun happens from a distance. But here? It’s a mix of games, challenges, and yes... slime!

What to expect at Gootopia

I had seen photos of Gootopia SM North, and it looked exciting, but I wasn’t sure how much of the place revolved around slime. Turns out, while the slime activities are a highlight, there’s a lot more happening. It’s not just a Slime lab; it’s an interactive experience where kids and parents go through different games.

The place isn’t huge, so don’t expect a massive playground with endless slides. Instead, it’s more structured. Each ticket comes with a Gootopia scorecard, which lets you try the different activities once. If you score high enough, you get a slime kit to take home.

If you’re planning a visit and wondering about the Gootopia ticket price, here’s what I found:

• Walk-in rate: ₱799 per person

• Slime Time Promo (Weekends only): ₱599

• Unli-Play Promo (Weekdays only): ₱599 for unlimited play within an hour

• Top fans on Facebook get free entry if they bring a paying adult (₱799)

• Birthday Promo: Free entry on your birth month with a paying adult (₱799)

You can book tickets through their website, Gootopia online, or via Klook. Walk-ins are allowed, but I’d suggest checking their site first, especially if you’re after a promo.

How Gootopia works

When you enter, each paying guest (3.5 feet and above) gets a scorecard. This acts as a game pass that will let you try out all the activities once. Kids under 3.4 feet can enter for free, but they need a paying guardian. The catch? They don’t get their own scorecard or slime kit. However, they can play using their guardian’s games, as long as they have help.

Will you get slimed?

If you join Glowzooka, expect it to get messy. They do provide a full suit with a face cover to keep slime from getting everywhere. Your hands will still get sticky, but that’s part of the fun. If you’d rather stay clean, you can skip this one.

Is Gootopia worth it?

At first, I wasn’t sure if the Gootopia price in the Philippines was worth it, but once we got inside, I saw why Audrey loved it. She had the most fun with the Gootopia slime activities, especially playing with kinetic sand and customizing her own slime kit.

The staff were helpful and friendly. The only downside? Each game can only be played once unless you pay extra. If your child loves repeating activities, that might be a challenge. But if they enjoy trying new things, this setup works.

Would I go back? Probably during a promo. The regular rate is a bit pricey for a one-time visit, but the discounts make it more reasonable. If your child enjoys interactive games, problem-solving, and, of course, slime, it’s a fun way to spend an afternoon.
