Restaurant Review: The Wholesome Table

I always thought that eating healthier means eating bland meals that consist of mostly green leafy vegetables. But I’m wrong. There are a few local restaurants that offer guilt-free, tasty, and wholesome meals.

Place

The Wholesome Table aims to showcase its farm-to-table concept. Their restaurant has a rustic farm ambiance. If you wanted to cozy, laid-back morning date, you should try this.

Service

The service is satisfactory. Crews were attentive to our needs because we were the only customers during our visit.

Food

Burrata
We started our meal with this dish. The star of this dish is the soft white cheese topped with balsamic orange sauce, stewed tomatoes, and basil. It is served with buttered garlic on the side and toasted sourdough bread.

Foodie Rating: 5/5

Avocado Toast
What’s breakfast without Avocado toast? This dish is made from toasted sourdough bread with smashed avocado and a sunny-side-up egg on top. It is drizzled with extra virgin olive oil and sprinkled with chili flakes and sea salt.

Foodie Rating: 5/5

Grilled Porkchop
My main meal is their famous grilled pork chop. I’m a bit disappointed because the pork chop is thick, it’s too tough to chew.
